Sharis Ghazarian Abnoos graduated from Woodbury University in the Spring of 2010 with a BA in Interior Architecture and a minor in Graphic Design. While in school, she also had an interest in biology, which helped her perspective in transforming spaces by looking at how the existing structure affects people using those spaces. She excelled in her drawing classes and when faced with projects that involved budgets she found that the challenge of this criteria brought out her talent. She feels budget is an important factor in working with the constraints of a concept while responding to the interests of clients.
Prior to graduation, Sharis served as an interior design intern at Ethos Design working on presentations and space planning in AutoCad. She also helped their graphic design department with the development of marketing materials.
Since joining DDD, she has expanded her experience in all aspects of the field of interior design especially working directly with clients to assess and execute their interiors. A major advancement in her knowledge has been to create construction documents for client projects and witness them being brought to completion, which was a shift from her time spent in school. She has also worked to help evolve the marketing and graphic presence of DDD.
“The work environment at DDD is very positive and relaxing despite the pressure of our deadlines and our productivity is supported by the environment. I enjoy coming to work by making people’s visions come true when we complete projects for our clients”.
