Karina Laker graduated from Moorpark College in Interior Design in spring of 2009. Prior to attending Moorpark she was a sales rep in the computer industry for 10 years. Her appreciation for customer relationships was developed and she also was able to hone her skills in maintaining a client requirements and project management.

Later she decided to expand her career to be a part of a more creative process and to develop a product that she could offer with more conviction. Her creative focus was directed according to her ability to visualize spaces and their potential. She then decided to go back to school to study interior design to gain preparation and a new skill set to commence her new career in interior deign. She continues to use her skills from her previous career to hear what clients say and help them interpret their vision.
